About Me

Hello! 

My name is Mandy and I am the creator,  designer, and curator for Just in Case Kits. I have been a wife for 28 years (22 of those as an Army wife), I have three amazing kids (ages: 27, 24, and 9), and I have two cats that round out my family. I am an AVID reader of mainly romance, I run my own book club, I love everything dark academia with a slight witchy vibe, and I hold degrees in Applied Psychology and Child Advocacy, as well as being certified as a Medical Assistant. 

This brand started because I saw the need for easy and accessible medical rescue kits, like the ones I have with me at all times. I have nine different diagnosed chronic conditions and even though some of them overlap in symptoms, I am in need of constant reassurance that my medical rescues are near. I wanted to create kits that had what you needed to help you through your flares and to just give that reassurance that when in need, you are prepared. Although I focus on chronic medical conditions, I also curate kits for everyday issues like menstruation, a general get well kit, and an All in One kit that covers everything you could possibly need for life's little emergencies. I offer custom versions of the Kid's Menstrual Emergency Rescue Kit and the All in One Emergency Rescue Kit. This is just to allow those of us who are young (or young at heart) to have a bit of fun and have a kit that fits their needs and their aesthetic.
